PTA On The Road: New Items

There’s something that I love about vintage maps…and with summer arriving, and thoughts drifting to traveling, I present a couple of new PTA projects that I’ve had in the works…

Going Places magnet set:

Cartographic symbols are overprinted on the actual pages of a 1969 Hungarian historical atlas, so each set is unique!

And a new series of greeting cards I’ve been calling Earthly Sentiments:

Red text overprinted on images of late nineteenth-century vintage world maps.

Each card comes with a red A7 (approx. 5 x 7) envelope by French Paper Co.

I’ve corrected the grammar since I took this picture

The new cards and magnets will make their debut at the Olivet Flea Market this Saturday (22nd & Mt. Vernon Sts., in the Fairmount neighborhood of Philly). I will also have my other magnet & pin sets, letter magnets & pins, and the remainder of my natural candles and other greeting cards…oh, yes, and my yummy granola, too! (Phew!)

And mark your calendars, I will be at the OCCCDA Flea Market on June 19th, as well!

Please come out and say hi!

Post (Flea) Market Report

I’m finally getting around to posting photos from the OCCCDA Flea Market last weekend. It was a pretty slow day, and it ended a tad early when the sky suddenly broke open with a downpour. This was the first time the OCCCDA had organized a flea market, and we already have some ideas on how to improve it for next time. But, I’m glad to say, I did make a few bucks.

Becky and I shared a space. My table is on the left, Becky's on the right. Say hello, Becky!

Thanks to Tim for building me the button display stand and divider for my letter button tray. And thanks, of course, to all the peeps who came to check out my table!

Eventually, I’ll get the greeting cards and letter buttons into the online shop.

Flea Market this Saturday!

As I promised, here is a peek at a few things I’ve been working on lately.

I will have these items at the OCCCDA flea market this Saturday (June 13th), along with the other products I currently have in my online shop. As I mentioned before, I’m sharing a space with Becky of Lucky Dog Accessories. She’ll be selling her cute handmade ID holders, hand bags, and dog collars. We will be set up in the OCCCDA parking lot starting at 8am and will be there until as late as 3pm.

Take home your purchase in one of these little bags !

Please stop by on Saturday to say hello and check out our stuff!

I just finished up a reorder of custom buttons for Tiger Strikes Asteroid, the co-op gallery Tim is a part of. They have a new show opening Friday night. If you’re in town, take a look see.

I’ve also been working on some new buttons and greeting cards that I’m trying to have ready for the OCCCDA flea market next Saturday (June 13th). I’ll have everything I currently have in the online shop, plus some new stuff. I’m sharing the space with my friend Becky, who makes handbags and dog collars.

Come out and check us out…please!!!

Mother’s Day Sale and New Magnet Set!

Two shop announcements…

I just added a new magnet set to the shop. These hex signs are based on those found painted on barns near Tim’s beloved hometown in rural Berks County, PA. But we decided to update the color palette a bit.

Also, Mother’s Day is just around the corner, so we have decided to run a sale on our two “Mommy” magnet sets. I’ll keep them at the sale price until Mother’s Day, but just to be safe, I will only guarantee on-time shipment on orders received by April 27th (That’s one week from now).

So, please stop by the shop and have a look see!
